On February 25th, 2013, Mr. Daniel Handfield, Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of MediaMed Technologies, was named CEO of the Year Investissement Québec 2013. Mr. Handfield's success demonstrates, once again, the visionary approach and objective that MediaMed Technologies has to improve the healthcare system in Quebec. This contest aims to recognize a president, from an Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) company, for their leadership and exceptional contributions to Quebec's ICT industry.

On July 11th, 2012, our CEO, Daniel Handfield, was recognized as a finalist for his vision and leadership by Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year Contest. This prestigious contest recognizes the efforts made by entrepreneurs that have built prosperous and innovative companies and acknowledges their outstanding vision as well as the remarkable contribution they have made to diverse industries.
On April 12th, 2012, Med-GPS (Global Performance Solution) was recognized as a finalist in the category of innovation for Les OCTAS. These awards strive to recognize the achievement of excellence in Quebec's Information Technology industry.
On March 15th, 2012, Med-GPS (Global Performance Solution) was recognized as a finalist at one of Quebec’s most prestigious business contests: The Mercuriades, in the Investissement Québec Innovation category. This contest focuses on the entrepreneurship, the success, and the ambition of Quebec enterprises.
On October 2nd 2010, MédiaMed Technologies won the prize for the recognition of its work at the CSSS de Beauce, (prix Création pour l’Analyse-Codification Med-Echo), during their annual gala 2010.
In the fall of 2008, the "Projet Défi santé"* (health challenge project) of the CSSS des Sommets conducted in collaboration with MédiaMed Technologies was presented with the following awards:
* "Projet Défi santé" involves providing personalized and integrated services to people whose deteriorated health condition forces them to visit the emergency room and healthcare units of a hospital repeatedly on a regular basis.
The senior executives of MédiaMed Technologies are coauthors of the scientific presentation "Projet d’évaluation de coût par patient du CHUM" (CHUM per-patient cost assessment project). This presentation received the "Prix d’excellence" during the annual convention of the Association latine pour l’analyse des systèmes de santé (Latin association for health system analysis) and was presented in Switzerland in September 2003.
In May 2003, the Vallée-du-Richelieu Chamber of Commerce awarded MédiaMed Technologies with the "Prix de l'excellence Richeloise 2003" in the start-up company category.
The Association des hôpitaux du Québec (Quebec hospitals association) granted MédiaMed Technologies (formerly called Gestions informatiques Sysmic) the "Excellence en informatique-santé" award in the clinical information technology category (2001 edition).
